Acura unveils the new 2014 MDX at the Detroit Autoshow

Acura has just unveiled their new totally redone 2014 MDX prototype at the Detroit Auto Show.

The new MDX is an upsized version of the RDX crossover with the same LED lights as the RLX sedan.  The overall design is more refined and cohesive than their current model.

Acura wins Edmunds Best Retained Value Award

Edmunds.com has announced Acura as the top luxury brand winner in their 2012 Best Retained Value awards.  These awards recognize brands and models that have the highest projected resale value after five years according to their data.

The Acura MDX won the top spot in the SUVs over $45,000 category and the Acura TL and TSX received honourable mentions in the Sedan $30,000 to $40,000 category.

Acura Earns Three IIHS Top Safety Pick Ratings

Today Acura announced that three of its best selling models the Acura TSX, TL and MDX earned the highest possible safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).  This was after the IIHS instituted even more stringent testing guidelines than previous years.
