Acura has teamed up with indie rock sensation Metric and paired a brand new 2013 ILX Hybrid with the band on its North American tour.
But this isn’t your typical 2013 ILX. In an effort to catch the eye of anyone going to the concerts or even those just passing by, the Japanese automaker has turned the special edition ILX into an LED infused art car with an incredible 3D display in place of the interior.
Bringing their creation to fruition took workers 4,600 hours as 7,500 individually controllable LEDs were installed. All of these LEDs are activated by more than 1,100 lines of interactive programming to create a unique light show that is unlike any other.
